Privacy policy
1. Who processes your data
- Controller: APLICACIONES SAAS IBERICA, S.L. (Tax ID B93773620), owner of the Zenivet brand
- Address: Avenida Cañada de los Fenicios, Aldea 5, Casa 24, 18150 Gójar (Granada), España
- Contact: hola@zenivet.es
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to the website zenivet.es: to those who visit it or write to us to ask for information or a demo of Zenivet.
The Zenivet application (the veterinary practice-management software) is subscribed to separately, under its own contract and data processing agreement. Inside the application, the veterinary clinic is the controller of its clients' and patients' data, and APLICACIONES SAAS IBERICA, S.L. acts as processor, processing it only on the clinic's instructions. If your data is in the application because you gave it to a clinic, contact that clinic to exercise your rights.
3. What data we process and why
a) Contact form and email
If you write to us from the form on this website, we process your name, the name of your clinic or company, your email address, your phone number, the type of request (demo, pricing, migration, multi-centre or other), the approximate number of seats if you tell us (optional) and the content of your message. The message reaches us by email at hola@zenivet.es; it is not stored in any website database. The email also includes the language and the page you wrote from.
We use them solely to answer your request, arrange a demo and, if you ask us to, send you a proposal.
So that we can show what information you were given (art. 5.2 GDPR), the email we receive also carries a record: date and time of submission, an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address (not the IP in the clear), your browser and the text of the checkbox you ticked. In addition, to curb abuse of the form, we keep that same fingerprint together with a submission counter for one hour at most.
- Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR): you are the one asking us for information or a demo. The checkbox on the form, which arrives unticked, confirms you have read this information. The record of the submission is processed to comply with the obligation to be able to demonstrate the information provided (arts. 5.2 and 6.1.c GDPR), and the submission limit on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the form (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as the conversation lasts and, if no contract results, up to one year after the last communication, in case it needs to be picked up again or a claim arises. If you subscribe to Zenivet, the data moves into the contractual relationship, with its own retention period. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
b) Email and WhatsApp
If you write to us directly at hola@zenivet.es, we process the data you provide in the message, for the same purpose, on the same legal basis and for the same period as in the previous section.
The website includes a link to WhatsApp. Until you click it, nothing is sent to WhatsApp or Meta. If you click it, you leave this website and WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) opens, and its terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation. If you write to us there, we will use your data only to deal with your enquiry.
c) Browsing and cookies
This website uses no analytics, advertising, pixels or third-party cookies, and loads no fonts, maps or videos from external servers: everything is served from zenivet.es. We only use two first-party technical cookies (the session cookie, which protects the form, and the one that remembers your choice about the cookie notice), explained in the cookie policy. Your choice about the notice is stored only in your browser; we keep no record of it on our server.
The server also keeps the usual access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Retention: the time strictly necessary for those purposes, according to the server configuration.
4. Who it is shared with
We do not sell personal data nor pass it to third parties for their own commercial use. It is only accessed by:
- Server hosting and email: Dinahosting, with servers in Spain, as data processor.
- Public authorities and courts: where there is a legal obligation to disclose the data to them.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you click the link: a service you use directly, under its own terms; we do not send it any data ourselves.
For our part, we make no international data transfers.
5. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing. You may also withdraw your consent whenever you wish, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise them, write to us at hola@zenivet.es stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid).
6. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect the data: a security token and anti-spam filters on the form, a limit on submissions per origin, a content security policy that prevents loading third-party resources, and keeping IP addresses only as an irreversible fingerprint.
7. Changes to this policy
If we amend this policy, we will publish the new version at this same address and update the date in the header. If the change is significant and affects data we already process, we will let you know.
