Switch programs without starting from scratch

You export the data from your current program and Zenivet imports it step by step, validating each file before saving. If you repeat a file, nothing is duplicated.

Switching software is scary because of the data. Zenivet’s importer works step by step and in order: first clients, then patients linked to their owners, and then vaccinations, clinical records, items and stock, and outstanding debts.

Each file, in CSV or Excel exactly as your current program exports it (for example, QVET), is validated before saving. The result shows the rows imported and those with errors, with their number so you can review them.

What you can do

  • Step by step and in order

Clients, patients, vaccinations, records, items and debts.

  • CSV or Excel

Exactly as your current program exports it.

  • Recognised columns

Column mapping by header names, adjustable to each export.

  • Prior validation

Everything is checked before anything is saved.

  • No duplicates

Each record is recognised by its source code: repeating a file does not duplicate.

  • Error report

Which rows failed and why, so you can correct them.

What you see on screen

Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:

  1. 1Recommended order: clients, patients and then the rest.
  2. 2Upload file: CSV or Excel, validated before importing.
  3. 3Result: rows imported and rows with errors.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Export your data

From your current program, in CSV or Excel.

  2. 2

    Try a small file

To check that the columns are recognised correctly.

  3. 3

    Import in order

Clients first, patients next and then the rest.

  4. 4

    Review the result

Correct the rows with errors and upload them again.

Tip: We guide you through the migration: we review your program’s export with you before importing it.

Any that exports to CSV or Excel. The importer recognises columns by name and adapts to each export.

Yes. If they are not structured, they are imported as text notes with their date, in the patient’s timeline.

If an import has been “in progress” for more than 30 minutes, it can be relaunched or deleted.
