A diary designed for a veterinary clinic
One column per vet, operating theatre, room or grooming station. Appointments are colour-coded by type, move by dragging, and automatically remind the client the day before.
The diary is where almost everything in the clinic begins. In Zenivet you can have as many diaries as you need, each with its own hours, and view them by day or by week.
When booking you look up the client or the pet by name, phone or microchip, and if they are new you register them without leaving the screen. When they arrive, one click moves them to the waiting room.
What you can do
-
Several diaries
By vet, operating theatre, room or grooming, in columns side by side.
-
Colour-coded appointment types
Consultation, vaccination, surgery, check-up… each type with its own duration and colour.
-
Drag and drop
Move an appointment to another time or diary, or stretch its edge to change the duration.
-
Recurring appointments
Weekly dressings or long treatments: create the whole series at once.
-
Blocks
Reserve unavailable slots for surgeries, meetings or holidays.
-
Automatic reminder
The day before, the client receives a notice by email or WhatsApp, with a link to confirm.
What you see on screen
Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:
- 1View and new appointment: switch between day and week and create appointments (also with Alt+N).
- 2Columns: one per diary (vet, grooming, operating theatre…).
- 3Appointment: the colour shows the type. Click it to open it or drag it to move it.
- 4Block: an unavailable slot that does not accept appointments.
How it works, step by step
-
1
Look up the client
By name, phone or microchip. If they are new, quick registration in the same form.
-
2
Choose type and slot
The appointment type sets the duration. If the slot is taken, Zenivet warns you of the overlap.
-
3
The client gets the notice
Automatic reminder the day before, and you can see whether they confirmed.
-
4
They arrive and move to the waiting room
Pending, confirmed, in the waiting room, seen: the status moves forward with one click.
Tip: The colours and duration of each appointment type are set up once in Settings and applied automatically.
