Prescriptions in order and PRESVET without scares

You write the prescription, Zenivet detects whether it has to be reported to PRESVET, puts it in the queue with its days remaining and sends it. No spreadsheets and no oversights.

The veterinary prescription comes out as a PDF with the mandatory data: vet and registration number, owner, animal, medicine, dosage, duration and date. The medicine catalogue can be imported from CIMAVET and knows which are antibiotics or psychotropics.

Since 2025, antibiotic prescriptions for companion animals must be reported to PRESVET (the Spanish antibiotic prescription reporting system) within 15 days. Zenivet automatically flags what has to be reported, warns of what is about to expire and sends it from a tray, keeping the acknowledgement and any errors.

What you can do

  • PDF prescription

With the data required by Royal Decree 666/2023, numbered, to print or send.

  • CIMAVET catalogue

Medicines with active ingredient, presentation and whether they are antibiotics or psychotropics.

  • PRESVET queue

What is pending to be reported, what expires in 5 days or less and what gave an error.

  • Submission and acknowledgement

Individual or batch submission, with date, acknowledgement and retry of failed ones.

  • Controlled drugs register

Receipts, administrations and balance of psychotropics and narcotics.

  • Cancellation with reason

An issued prescription is not deleted: it is cancelled, stating why.

What you see on screen

Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:

  1. 1Actions: prescription PDF and submission to PRESVET.
  2. 2Reporting notice for antibiotics and medicines subject to control.
  3. 3PRESVET queue: pending, close to expiry and with errors.
  4. 4Controlled drugs register: receipts and issues of psychotropics and narcotics.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    New prescription

From the visit or from the patient’s Prescriptions tab.

  2. 2

    Medicines and regimen

From the catalogue, with dosage, duration and number of packs.

  3. 3

    It enters the queue

If it is an antibiotic, it is left pending to be reported with its deadline.

  4. 4

    It is reported

You send from the tray and the PRESVET acknowledgement is saved.

Tip: The home dashboard warns in red about prescriptions whose reporting deadline expires in 5 days or less.
