The hospitalisation board, on the tablet

All inpatients on one board with their hourly tasks. Marking a medication as done records who gave it, creates the charge and deducts the stock.

When you admit a patient you choose the kennel, reason and responsible vet. On their treatment sheet you add each medication or care item with dose, route and frequency, and the tasks appear on the board up to 7 days ahead.

The board is designed to be used with your finger on the ward tablet: large buttons, clear colours and overdue tasks in red. No paper sheets that later have to be copied onto the invoice.

What you can do

  • Multi-patient board

All inpatients and their hourly tasks, colour-coded by status.

  • Treatment sheet

Medication, fluid therapy, dressings, walks or feeding, every X hours or at fixed times.

  • Done = charged

Each task ticked off creates its charge and deducts stock from the hospital store.

  • Overdue in red

What should have been done and has not been ticked stands out.

  • Daily stay

Each day of admission is charged to the client automatically.

  • Discharge with report

Close the admission and generate the PDF discharge report with instructions for home.

What you see on screen

Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:

  1. 1Patient and kennel, with their active treatment.
  2. 2Overdue task: in red and marked with “!”.
  3. 3Completed task: who and when, and its generated charge.
  4. 4Pending task: scheduled for that time.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Admit the patient

Kennel, reason and vet. A patient cannot be admitted twice.

  2. 2

    Prescribe the treatment

Each medication with its dose, route and frequency.

  3. 3

    Tick off from the tablet

“Done” records the task; “Undo” reverses it if the charge has not been invoiced.

  4. 4

    Discharge

PDF discharge report and everything ready to collect payment at reception.

Tip: “Suspend” stops a treatment from that moment on without deleting what has already been done.
