Take payment for the consultation and the shop, on the same screen
You choose the client and their pending charges appear. You add the pet food or the antiparasitic with the scanner, split the payment and issue the invoice. No typing twice.
The counter brings together two things that in many clinics are kept apart: what has been done in the consultation, hospitalisation or grooming, and what is sold in the shop. In Zenivet they are paid together, with line discounts and several payment methods.
The till opens with its float, records cash in and out, and closes with a count by notes and coins. Each closing generates its Z report.
What you can do
-
Pending charges in one click
Everything done in the clinic, hospitalisation or grooming appears ready to be paid.
-
Shop sales
Pet food, accessories and antiparasitics, also with a barcode scanner.
-
Split payment
Cash, card, Bizum, bank transfer or payment on account in a single transaction. Change is calculated automatically.
-
Payments on account
Surgery deposits or advances that are later used as a payment method.
-
Cash count
Opening, cash in and out, count by notes and coins, and discrepancy.
-
No duplicate payments
Pressing “Pay” twice does not charge twice: it is detected and the same receipt is shown.
What you see on screen
Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:
- 1Client: look them up or leave it empty for an anonymous sale.
- 2Sale lines: items and services with quantity and amount.
- 3The client’s pending charges, added with one click.
- 4Payment: split the total between cash, card, Bizum or payment on account.
- 5Pay: issues the invoice or receipt and records the payment.
How it works, step by step
-
1
Open the point of sale
With Alt+C from any screen, and choose the client.
-
2
Add what is being charged
Their pending charges and whatever they buy in the shop.
-
3
Split the payment
How much they pay with each method.
-
4
Take payment
Invoice or receipt issued, stock deducted and till updated.
Tip: Card and Bizum payments do not count in the cash count: they appear in the summary by method.

Frequently asked questions
No. Card payment is marked at the point of sale and the receipt is printed from the browser. A keyboard-type barcode scanner works straight away.
Cash payments need an open till. Using a payment on account does not move cash, so it does not need one.
Yes, stating the reason. If it had deducted stock, the stock is returned.
