One catalogue for everything you do and sell
Consultations, surgeries, pet food, vaccines or a neutering kit: each with its price, its VAT and, if it is a physical item, its stock.
Items are of three types: services (consultations, surgeries, grooming), stocked products and medicines, and composites or kits. A kit such as “cat neutering” groups service, material and medication, and when sold it deducts each component from stock.
You can have several price lists, for example one for members of a health plan. The cost is updated with each purchase so you know what you earn.
What you can do
-
Three item types
Service, stocked product or medicine, and composite kit.
-
Kits that deduct stock
When a kit is sold, each component is deducted.
-
Several price lists
Different prices per list, such as a members’ list.
-
VAT per item
Configurable VAT rates and the price including VAT always in view.
-
Barcode
To sell it at the point of sale with the scanner.
-
Batches and expiry
For medicines and vaccines, with a minimum stock that triggers alerts.
What you see on screen
Every area of the screen has a purpose. This is how it is organised:
- 1Identification: name, type, code and barcode.
- 2Price: sale price, VAT and cost updated with purchases.
- 3Price lists: different prices per list.
- 4Kit: components that are deducted when sold.
How it works, step by step
-
1
Create the item
Choose its type and its family.
-
2
Set the price and VAT
And, if you wish, a price per list.
-
3
Enable stock
With batches and expiry if it is a medicine or vaccine.
-
4
Use it everywhere
In consultations, hospitalisation, grooming, point of sale and quotes.
Tip: The record shows the price excluding VAT and the retail price; at the point of sale and in quotes you always work with VAT included.
